Imagine Entertainment and Animal Logic Entertainment have announced four original animated and live-action hybrid projects out of their recent joint venture!
Ron Howard is set to make his animated directorial debut with “The Shrinking of Treehorn,” a children’s book by Florence Parry Heide and illustrations by iconic American artist, Edward Gorey. Paramount Pictures will release the film.
Another project to be released by Paramount is an original animated story titled “Rainbow Serpent” from writer Stuart Beattie (“Pirates of the Caribbean”, “GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra”).
On deck is “Zero,” a buddy comedy from director Carlos Stevens and writers Jonathon Stewart and Eyal Podell (“The Angry Birds Movie 2”, “Cars 3”). Warner Bros will distribute this film.
The fourth title in the joint venture, “Muttnik,” is a live-action hybrid about a space-time continuum travelling dog that is sent into space by the Russians and returns home to his family an evolved creature.
