Amongst hundreds of entries from across Australia, it was family feature GRANDPA’S UFO, from writers Justin Evans and Steve Mitchell that abducted the top prize. Set in rural Australia, a Grandfather and Grandson enter a hotly contested vertical flight competition with their homemade flying saucer, dubbed Grandpa’s UFO.
Evans and Mitchell will receive a prize package of AU$5,000 as well as professional guidance and feedback from Executive Vice President’s Jonathan Hludzinski and Felicity Staunton.
The two runner-up finalists, Melissa Gravitis with SHADOWREALM and Joshua Heaton with SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER both receive AU$1,000 and professional feedback to support them along their way.
