Legend of the Guardians, directed by Zack Snyder, was the first project developed in house by Animal Logic Entertainment, a significant creative achievement for the company and one that set a benchmark for photoreal animation, both in Australia and overseas.
Based on the beloved series of books by Kathryn Lasky, Animal Logic brought the world of a young owl named Soren and the tale of a mythic band of winged warriors to life for the big screen. Developed and produced over 3 years at Animal Logic in Sydney, Australia, Producer and CEO of Animal Logic Zareh Nalbandian amassed a team of 500+ artists, technicians and support staff to design, develop and execute one of the most ambitious and visually rich animated films of our time.
